    Saraban Tree's own Janet Mathewson comes from a home where artworks were both made and collected. Her own journey has taken her from the study of History of Art at Cambridge University, to the making of art (Britain's Wimbledon School of Art and West Surrey College of Art and Design) and running an Art Department in inner city London. Working across a range of media, it is journeys - whether emotional, spiritual or physical ones - which have inspired her in both her life and her artistic work. Click on her bio to find out more...

    Emerging artist Claire A Mason is part of the generation of global citizens with parents from different countries (in this case, NZ and Britain) who end up with several passports and a unique take on words such as "home" and "culture".   • Artist's CV: Daphne Mason

    Established NZ female artist Daphne Mason has works in collections around the world, and has a solid exhibition history stretching over nearly 50 years, both in NZ and in the UK. She has been a Finalist in several major NZ art awards, including having 2 works in the Finals of the 1984 Whanganui Art Awards at the Sarjeant Gallery.
